Maxi's in Fall/Winter

Hey ladies! So I have seen Maxi dresses every where this season in magazines and on TV. I figured I would try one for myself to see how versatile it really is for fall/winter months. It was cool during the day and we had a cold breeze last night but this actually worked out well throughout. I took off the jacket while working at the store yesterday when we got busy because I was running around so much helping customers and got a little warm. But I think that wearing maxi's in the colder months is actually a nice change of style. I paired my scarf with it and just wrapped it so it looked like an infinity scarf. I think you could wear a thick pair of leggings also under the dress for some added warmth in the winter. I hate wearing chunky sweaters even in the dead of winter because depending on what I am doing I get rather warm sometimes. Anyway I wanted to try it and see what you ladies thought of the look.

Dress: My sisters :) (So glad to have a twin that I can share closet's with!)
Jacket: Gift from my amazing boyfriend
Scarf: Charisma Boutique (on sale) $9

If you haven't like the new Charisma Boutique facebook page please go and "like" it and support our local business. We can ship anywhere in the US for $8. Charisma Boutique New Bern

Also, while in Greenville today I stopped in Kmart and wanted to let you all know that they have amazing Fall looks there right now. Everything from skinnies, leggings, sweaters, wraps, sweater dresses, boots, gorgeous pumps, and great LBD's. I was shocked but pleasantly surprised. I found a great pair of black skinnies that I have been on the hunt for. Plan on getting those next week! YAY! Hope you all have a wonderful Monday. Back to classes for me but next Tuesday we are out for Thanksgiving break!!!! It is much needed!
